SSB Raclette 2019 - AUSVERKAUFT
Mit allen Plätzen reserviert und einer Warteliste zeichnete sich bereits im Vorfeld der Erfolg der diesjährigen Raclette Party ab. Dank einigen „no shows“ konnten dann doch einige nicht angemeldete Geniesser
Das Hightlight war natürlich unsere neue Botschafterin, Frau Helene Budliger Artieda mit ihrem ersten «Auftritt» innerhalb der Swiss Society Bangkok. Ihre charmante Ansprache stiess auf reges Interesse. An dieser Stelle herzlichen Dank an die Botschaft für den spendierten Schweizer Wein zum Apero. Interessant war zu erfahren, dass 2019 Bangkok die beliebteste Botschaftsvakanz war. Aufgrund ihres fleissigen und engagierten Einsatzes am letzten Standort in Südafrika und zuvor in Bern als Direktorin für Ressourcen im EDA kam Frau Helene Budliger Artieda nach Thailand.
Unter der Leitung von Luca Sigg (Brasserie 9) und dem »wachsamen Auge» von Linus AE Knobel (CEO Bangkok Air Catering) betreute der Caterer Gourmet Primo www.gourmetprimo.com die Gästeschar. Mit einer Crew von 29 Mitarbeitern, davon 9 Chefköche aus 7 verschiednen Ländern und 4 Betrieben war die BAC Group vor Ort und zeichnete für perfekten Service und «gewohnt» sehr gute Qualität der Speisen.
Nach dem am Tisch servierten exquisiten Swiss Gourmet Teller traf man sich an den kurzen Warteschlangen der 7 Raclette Stationen, ideale Gelegenheit neue Kontakte zu knüpfen oder alte aufzufrischen.
Eine Soundanlage, ein Computer und eine Kaffeemaschine sorgten für Aufregung: zu viel für die Steckdose und deren Sicherung! Doch innert Kürze wurde dieses Malheur durch die Techniker der Botschaft behoben.
Alle Anwesenden genossen den gemütlichen Abend, der mit einem feinen Fruchtsalat (logisch – mit Kirsch) oder/und einer gluschtigen Eiscreme abgeschlossen wurde.
Grosses Dankeschön an die Organisatoren des SSB Vorstandes, an die Botschaft für das Gastrecht im gepflegten Botschaftsgarten und an Gourmet Primo der BAC Group.

SSB Raclette 2019 - SOLD OUT
Success was anticipated ahead of the event as the Raclette party was fully booked and there even was a waiting list for this evening. Thanks to some «no shows», a few additional guests had the opportunity to join, and the SSB President could welcome 136 guests in the beautiful garden of the Swiss Embassy in Bangkok.
The highlight was our new Ambassador, Mrs. Helene Budliger Artieda, with her first words to the Swiss Society Bangkok. Her charming speech attracted the attention of the audience. At this point we seize the opportunity to thank the Embassy for the sponsored Swiss wine for the aperitif. Gourmet Primo www.gourmetprimo.com was taking care of the catering under the lead of Luca Sigg (Brasserie 9) and “supervised” by Linus AE Knobel (CEO Bangkok Air Catering). A crew of 29 employees, thereof 9 chefs with 7 different nationalities from 4 branches of the BAC group were responsible for a perfect service and, as usual, excellent quality of food. The exquisite starter, a Swiss gourmet platter, was served at the table. Then the guests had the opportunity to chat with old friends and new faces while waiting in the short lines at the 7 raclette stations.

We all enjoyed the pleasant evening that ended with a delicious fruit salad (of course with some Kirsch) and delicious ice cream.
