Get-Together February 2026

Our February Get-Together was a wonderful success. Twenty-nine guests gathered at the Chesa and enjoyed a truly captivating presentation by Vincent and Nathalia Weil, two Swiss adventurers from Geneva that have been exploring the world by motorbike for more than four years.

Since setting off, they have ridden over 100,000 kilometers across several continents, documenting their journey as content creators and sharing it with a global community of more than 120,000 followers.

Their adventure began on 1 August 2022 in Geneva in a spontaneous and symbolic moment. During a farewell gathering with friends and family, their nephew spun a bottle of wine on a world map, randomly choosing the direction of travel. With no fixed destination and no timeline, that simple gesture marked the beginning of an open-ended journey.

On their long road to Thailand, Vincent and Nathalia crossed 44 countries. Along dusty tracks and endless horizons, they learned to measure life not in distance, but in moments. They spoke of mornings that started wherever the sun rose, of strangers who quickly became friends, and of the quiet generosity found far from home. Life on the road, they explained, is freedom—but it also demands resilience. Unpredictable roads, exhausting days, and barking dogs chasing them through the night became challenges, then memories, and finally stories told with a smile.

The audience listened, completely absorbed. Many had traveled parts of the same route themselves and, through Vincent and Nathalia’s stories, were transported back to their own adventures. Souvenirs were shared, anecdotes exchanged, and for a while the room turned into a meeting point of journeys—past and present, near and far.

It was more than a travel talk. It was a reminder that the world is vast, generous, demanding, and beautiful—and that every road, no matter how rough, carries a story worth telling.
